Based on a January 2022 Google Survey of US consumers (+/- 5% margin of error with 95% confidence):
- Gen Z are 147% more likely to pay $0.99 per month to support a musician versus a Millennial…. and 248% more likely to support a musician than their Gen X parents.
- An estimated 23.5 million Gen Z’ers in the United States (35%) say that they would definitely use an app which could help them find friends with similar interests in music.
- An estimated 30.8 million Gen Z’ers in the US (a whopping 46%) say they would consider investing $100 in a social token for a musician, even if that meant it could decrease hugely in value.
- An astounding 83% of Gen Z’ers say that they would consider using an independent music platform which better compensates artists (over a major music streaming platform).

The first way that fans can better support artists is a simple direct-to-fan subscription. Fans are invited to choose the artist(s) they want to directly support by making a $0.99 monthly contribution. As more and more fans support other artists on the PANTHR roster this adds up to a livable wage for most musicians to fund their creative endeavors.
Empowering fans to invest in their favorite artists
The second way that fans can better support artists is through PANTHR’s digital marketplace. The heart of the digital marketplace is the PANTHR Exchange, a safe and trusted token exchange built on the blockchain. Here fans will be able to invest in the independent artists they believe in, while earning perks and insider benefits including greater access to the artist, first dibs on exclusive merch, the opportunity to buy discounted pre-sale tickets or any other incentive dreamed up by the artist. Loyalty rewards gamify artist support
PANTHR’s loyalty rewards program and proprietary FanRank algorithm will allow fans to accumulate points which can be redeemed for special offers from their favorite artists and earn them public acknowledgment of their fandom on the PANTHR leaderboard and badges that can be proudly displayed on their fan profiles. Fans will be encouraged to organize into digital street teams to magnify their voice and complete challenges which will add to their points total.

Before streaming, the CD or vinyl you purchased did more than drive income to the artist, it was how fans got to experience a tactile, tangible connection with the forces behind the music.
